The Stars as Viewed from the International Space Station

The Stars as Viewed from the International Space Station
The videos depicting the stars from low earth orbit, as viewed from the International Space Station. Images edited using Adobe Lightroom with some cropping to make the stars the focal point of each shot, and with manipulation of the contrast to bring out the stars a bit more.

Google maps street video stop motion animation from google corp offers the information for place ,similar like google earth.

Google Street View is a technology featured in Google Maps and Google Earth that provides panoramic views from positions along many streets in the world. It was launched on May 25, 2007, in several cities in the United States, and has since expanded to include cities and rural areas worldwide.

Where available, Street View images appear after zooming in beyond the highest zooming level in maps and satellite images, and also by dragging a "pegman" icon onto a location on a map. When dragging the pegman icon, blue lines on the map showing Street View imagery will appear. Using the keyboard or mouse, the horizontal and vertical viewing direction and zoom level can be selected. A solid or broken line in the photo shows the approximate path followed by the camera car, and arrows link to the next photo in each direction. At junctions and crossings of camera car routes, more arrows are shown. By using Google Maps, users can turn on steroscopic 3D mode by right-clicking in Street View to get an anaglyph version of any Street View images. However, this mode requires users to wear red/cyan glasses to see the 3D effects.

On November 21, 2008, Street View was added to the Maps application installed on the Apple iPhone. On December 10, 2008, Street View was added to the Maps application for S60 3rd Edition. Street View has now also been added to the BlackBerry and Windows Mobile versions of Google Maps. All versions of Google Maps for the Android operating system feature Street View, and the digital compass can be used to look around the locations. On February 14, 2013, Google Street View became available on the Wii U under the name 'Wii Street U'.

Google Street View displays panoramas of stitched images taken from a fleet of specially adapted cars. Areas not accessible by car, like pedestrian areas, narrow streets, alleys and ski resorts, are sometimes covered by Google Trikes (tricycles)[3] or snowmobiles. On each of these vehicles there are nine directional cameras for 360° views at a height of about 8.2 feet, or 2.5 meters, GPS units for positioning and three laser range scanners from Sick AG for the measuring of up to 50 meters 180° in the front of the vehicle. These are used for recording a rough 3D model of the surroundings, enabling faux-3D transitions between distinct panoramas where the environment images are momentarily mapped onto this 3D model while being crossfaded to create an animated perspective change as the user travels from one panorama to another. There are also 3G/GSM/Wi-Fi antennas for scanning 3G/GSM and Wi-Fi hotspots. More recently, high quality images have been based on open source hardware cameras from Elphel.

Best Short film plastic bag Plastikbeutel

Best Short film plastic bag Plastikbeutel
Best Short film plastic bag Plastikbeutel

Ostensibly, Plastic Bag is an environmental film. That might raise a red flag for some, for whom the preachiness of "message documentaries" screams "BORING". But despite the socially conscious message lurking within the film it is resolutely narrative, and, within that category, dramatic and deft too, in its dramatization of the life cycle of a disposable commodity.

The film follows a wayward plastic grocery bag: sentient and voiced by Werner Herzog to amazing effect, as it searches for meaning to its existence. It is a heavy subject—existential angst—and in the form of a plastic bag's personification, definitely absurd. However for the most part the film takes itself and its concept seriously, albeit with occasional breaks for wry humor. The result is a film that is a success as education and entertainment; one that musters a startling amount of pathos from its subject and a surprising amount of empathy from its audience.

The best entry of Future States, a whole series of films commissioned by ITVS, Plastic Bag is a confident and polished piece of art that successfully navigates these two simultaneous threads: the interior and the exterior, humanity and nature, the particular and the environmental. It accomplishes both these angles with aplomb in a quite moving whole. I very much like this film and hope you take the time to enjoy it as well.

Bottle of Message

Bottle of Message Separated by the sea,a unique Duo pass along message of their lives through a bottle. An elegant animation of minimalist perfection to show how to communication inside the innermost of human's soul.
Animated on location at a beach, in snow, and underwater, this stop-motion short details a transoceanic conversation between two characters via objects in a bottle.

The shot film Bottle captures a current cultural desire to engage in the world on a physical, experiential level. This cultural desire expresses itself through the fetishization of craftsmanship, workwear, rustic Americana, roots music, biking, hiking et al. The short film is able to do this by inventively leaving the cramped animation studio to create stop-motion out in the world—an outdoors, on-location stop-motion that I can only imagine to be hellish in practice. The result is worth it however, unique and interesting. I have seen the world play a role in stop-mo, the graffiti of Blu notably, yet he creates representations on the world, not of the world as Lepore does here.

This larger cultural flow which Bottle latches on to can be seen as reactionary, a consequence of the mediated and seemingly inauthentic substance of modern life. The film understands this, obliquely addressing modern disconnect via the loneliness and desire for contact that the two characters exhibit.  It is a well worn theme, but is nonetheless as relevant as ever, trapped as we are in an infoculture advancing faster than we can keep up. The desire of the characters for physical interaction rather than the mere continuation of bottle-messaging can be read as a statement to this effect.

However the short film would not have garnered the affection it has received simply as a document of exquisite taste or even insight, instead it is the depth of feeling the two abstract masses are able to engender that endears the audience. The heart of the film's skill in this regard is a unique process by which the characters are personified. Through the co-opting of gifts into their bodies, Sand and Snow progressively individualize themselves, allowing for deeper attachment by the viewer. It is a clever sequence and the character's pleasure is infectious, overcoming the inherent difficulty presented by the amorphous character design and the film's brief run-time. That said, this sequence has interest beyond mere utility, it is also a profound statement. The character's transformation touches on philosophy and psychoanalytics, dramatizing theories of ego-formation and individuality, which posit that these concepts are wholly dependent on contrast—the presence of an "other".

The animation video is one of the best short films I've seen.Well paced and executed. The images need no dialogue.A love story that has it's own language. It is worthy of to be Winner of the Vimeo Audience Award for Animation 2010.
